Feeling Down? The Callin’ Oates Hotline is Back!

OMG… the Callin’ Oates Hotline is back up and running. I feel whole again. No, seriously… I friggin’ love Hall & Oates! I grew up with Daryl Hall, John Oates, and their music as the soundtrack to my late 70s and early 80s. Some of my fondest memories, past and present, were lived with Hall & Oates playing in the background.

Okay, okay… some of you are thinking, “Calm down, Bill. What is this all about? Callin’ Oates Hotline, really?”

Answer: Really.

A few years ago, a good friend, Morgan, told me about the Callin’ Oates Hotline. I didn’t believe her at first, but she texted me the number. I called, and she was right. Fast forward to last night. Just when I needed an emotional pick-me-up, my friend Josh texted me:

“Bill. Someone posted this to Reddit today. It’s on the front page. There’s an emergency Hall & Oates Hotline!!”

I read his message three times before it sank in. I checked Reddit. Same number. My heart skipped a beat. Trembling, I dialed…

It was true. The Callin’ Oates Hotline lives again. More songs. Better sound quality. Same number. All is well in my world, and I hope it makes yours a little better too.
