Artifacts and Hangovers

A hangover, a hot studio, and a table of ancient pottery. Sometimes creation doesn’t wait for comfort. In the summer of 1991, I found myself photographing Anasazi ceramics in Cortez, Colorado, learning that even through haze and heat, the art of the create endures.
