In the winter of 1992, a business trip to Monterey turned into something more. Driving the coast with my Canon T90 and rolls of Kodachrome, I was swept up by seascapes, colors, and light I’ll never forget: images as feelings, feelings in the moment.

The Irish Lass
In the spring of 2006, I photographed a spirited little girl named Tegan, dressed in traditional Irish attire and full of charm. She played with her doll, smiled at her mother, and lit up the room without ever noticing the camera.
