Havre de Grace: Bay Light and iPhone
I hadn’t planned on taking photos that day. I had no camera bag, no gear. It was just a spontaneous drive through Harford County, Maryland. But as I reached Havre de Grace and stood by the bay, I couldn’t resist. With only my iPhone in hand, I wandered The Promenade, drawn in by the quiet and the winter light.

Kindlewood
Years ago, I stumbled upon something quietly extraordinary: a live show by Kindlewood at the Black Cat in Washington, D.C. What began as casual support for a work colleague turned into a night I’ll never forget. Though the band has since parted ways, their haunting, heartfelt sound endures. It’s still streaming, still stirring, and still worth discovering.

Cruising the California Coast
In the winter of 1992, a business trip to Monterey turned into something more. Driving the coast with my Canon T90 and rolls of Kodachrome, I was swept up by seascapes, colors, and light I’ll never forget: images as feelings, feelings in the moment.

The Irish Lass
In the spring of 2006, I photographed a spirited little girl named Tegan, dressed in traditional Irish attire and full of charm. She played with her doll, smiled at her mother, and lit up the room without ever noticing the camera.

Put that Coffee Down!!
The site’s been fully rebooted: new look, new focus, and a lot more coffee-worthy work on the way. Photography, photobooks, writing, and AI art all have a home here now. No shortcuts. No excuses. Because coffee is for closers.
