Professional Photographers of America

I am pleased to share that I have joined Professional Photographers of America (PPA).

Founded in 1868, PPA is one of the world's largest and longest-standing nonprofit photography organizations, providing education, advocacy, professional resources, and community for photographers working across the profession.

Photography has been part of my life and creative work for decades. Over the years, it has taken me across the United States and Canada, documenting the people, places, and details I encountered along the way.

Today, photography remains at the center of much of what I do through Bill McNamee | The Art of the Create. It is also an important part of the books and other projects I am developing through Kerrsplat Publishing.

Joining PPA felt like a natural extension of that work and an opportunity to become more connected with the larger professional photography community. I look forward to exploring the organization's resources, continuing to develop my craft, and being part of a community built around photography.

Membership in the PPA does not change the work itself. It simply adds another professional community around work I was already doing.

The work continues.
